Getting Married at Villa Baroncino: Where Love Meets Adventure

There is a term that perfectly describes that irresistible attraction to the unknown, the desire to discover still untouched corners of the world, the impulse to go beyond the boundaries of the most celebrated destinations: wanderlust. When two souls in love decide to unite in marriage in a place like Umbria, they are not simply choosing a picturesque location. They are declaring to the world their nature as adventurers of the heart, explorers of authenticity, travelers who know how to look beyond the most beaten paths to discover hidden treasures.

Umbria, with its whispered beauty rather than shouted, thus becomes the perfect metaphor for a love that does not follow conventions but seeks its own unique path. These couples are modern adventurers, mapping emotional territories yet to be discovered, aware that while crowds gather in the Tuscan squares and the more renowned coastal destinations, there exists a green heart of Italy that pulses with a different, slower, and deeper rhythm. Here, between medieval villages that seem suspended in time and valleys that tell millennial stories, they find a space where even love vows take on a more authentic flavor.

Choosing Umbria for their wedding means embracing the purest essence of wanderlust: not aimless restlessness, but the intentional search for a place that resonates with one’s soul. It is the decision to take the less traveled road. These pioneering couples return from their journeys with stories to tell that are different from the ones heard a thousand times. They carry with them memories of ceremonies held in centuries-old estates, of first dances as husband and wife beneath starry skies unmarred by light pollution, of toasts with wines produced from the very vines that framed their love.

Newlyweds and their wedding guests

In a world that pushes towards the standardization of experiences, the couples who marry in Umbria are the true treasure hunters, those who know that the most precious gems are often hidden in the least obvious places. Their Umbrian wedding thus becomes the affirmation of a free spirit unafraid to venture beyond the known borders to discover the magic that awaits those brave enough to seek it.

Umbria: A Hidden Oasis for Unforgettable Weddings

Among the many enchanting lands that Italy offers to its visitors, Umbria stands out for its discreet and authentic charm. Often referred to as the “green heart of Italy,” this region remains true to itself, far from the hustle and bustle of mass tourism that crowds other famous destinations such as Tuscany, Lake Como, or the Amalfi Coast. It is precisely this genuineness that makes it a surprisingly perfect choice for those wishing to celebrate their wedding in a setting of rare beauty and authenticity. Umbria hides a millennial heritage, from the remains of ancient Etruscan and Roman civilizations to medieval villages perched on rocky outcrops, silently guarding the valleys below.

When viewed from above, through a drone shot, the landscape resembles Tuscany: rolling hills dotted with towering cypress trees, lush vineyards climbing the slopes, fields of sunflowers swaying in the wind like a golden sea, and centuries-old olive trees that tell stories of ancient traditions. What makes Umbria a strategic choice for the wedding of your dreams is its central location in the Italian peninsula, guaranteeing a mild climate throughout every season. The lower tourist influx compared to other regions also represents an advantage from both an economic and logistical standpoint, making it easier to find availability on your desired dates.

Here, the bucolic atmosphere blends with rich historical and artistic heritage, offering a setting where time seems to slow down, marked only by the rhythm of nature. Wedding venues in Umbria are often ancient rural estates transformed into refined agriturismos, historic villas with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, or meticulously restored medieval villages. These locations maintain their authentic character while offering all the modern comforts necessary for a significant event. The golden light that characterizes this region creates a magical atmosphere, perfect for capturing the most significant moments of the big day with photos and videos.

Villa Baroncino: A Corner of Paradise Between Umbria and Tuscany

Villa Baroncino stands majestically on the rolling Umbrian hills, in a privileged location near the border with Tuscany, just a short distance from historic towns like Cortona and Perugia. This refined estate embodies the essence of Umbrian authenticity, completely immersed in a breathtakingly beautiful green landscape. What truly makes Villa Baroncino special is its panoramic position: to the south, a stunning view opens up over Lake Trasimeno, whose shimmering waters reflect the colors of the sky, while to the north, the property borders a natural park that hosts a centuries-old olive grove.

All around, the unspoiled countryside offers a breathtaking spectacle, towering cypress trees, silvery olive groves, and neatly arranged vineyards decorate the landscape, creating the perfect backdrop for your wedding photos and video. Carefully restored from an ancient rural farmhouse, Villa Baroncino preserves the most distinctive architectural details of traditional Umbrian construction, such as solid wood doors, expertly restored period furniture, exposed wooden beams, and original terracotta floors. The interiors are characterized by their brightness and spaciousness, exuding a refined elegance that steers away from opulence in favor of a timeless, authentic sophistication.

Villa Baroncino’s unique position, straddling Umbria and Tuscany, is also reflected in its architectural and decorative style, harmoniously blending the elegance and refinement characteristic of both regions. The colors chosen for the furnishings and décor constantly echo the hues of the surrounding nature, creating a seamless dialogue between the indoor spaces and the outdoor landscape. In this bucolic setting, where simplicity and elegance merge in perfect harmony, every wedding becomes an experience of extraordinary beauty, free from excessive extravagance but rich in class and authenticity.

Daniel and Samantha’s Love Under the Umbrian Sun

Daniel and Samantha’s love story reached its pinnacle on a radiant, sunlit day at Villa Baroncino. The clear Umbrian sky seemed to have reserved its purest light for their special day, while the warm, golden sun enhanced the vibrant colors of the wildflowers, the soft pastel tones of the guests’ attire, and most of all, the luminous gazes of the bride and groom. In the hours leading up to the ceremony, the villa’s elegant spaces became the setting for intimate and meaningful preparations. Surrounded by her bridesmaids, Samantha exuded an aura of serene beauty.

Her calmness was contagious, broken only by bursts of laughter as she shared memories and excitement with her closest friends. Meanwhile, in another wing of the villa, Daniel – flanked by his best men, who tried to lighten the mood with jokes and stories – could not hide the deep emotion welling up inside him at the thought of marrying the love of his life. The villa’s garden, adorned with floral arches and delicate white chairs, provided the perfect setting for the ceremony. As Samantha appeared at the beginning of the aisle, Daniel, standing at the altar, could not hold back his tears at the sight of his future wife walking toward him, ethereal in her white gown.

The newlyweds and their witnesses

Their vows, whispered with voices trembling with emotion, filled the air, while the rolling hills in the background framed the moment with incomparable beauty. During the reception, guests enjoyed a feast of Umbrian specialties, paired with local wines that told the story of the region. Heartfelt speeches from their closest friends mixed touching moments with bursts of laughter, painting the portrait of a couple beloved for their authenticity and unconditional love. As the sun set, casting amber hues over the Umbrian hills, the magical backdrop set the stage for the cake cutting and the beginning of the real celebration. Under a sky studded with stars, surrounded by toasts, wild dancing, and warm embraces, Daniel and Samantha celebrated not just their union, but the joy of being enveloped in so much love.

Capturing the Magic: The Art of Wedding Videography in Umbria

Wedding videography is an art form that requires a perfect balance between technical expertise and emotional sensitivity. In this lesser-known region, away from mass tourism, a skilled videographer must capture the deep connection between the couple and their surroundings, transforming it into an authentic visual story. A wedding day is a whirlwind of emotions that pass by too quickly, too fast for those experiencing them to fully take in each moment. This is where the priceless value of a wedding video and the videographer’s role truly shine, preserving every smile, every tear of joy, and every fleeting emotion.

The bride and the groom's first dance

Choosing the right videographer for a wedding should not be based solely on technical or budget considerations but also on personal chemistry. It is essential for the couple to build a relationship of trust with the professional, allowing them to feel completely at ease in front of the camera, free to experience their emotions without filters or fear. The most sought-after professionals are those who can make their presence almost imperceptible while always being in the right place at the right time. This ability to move discreetly throughout the ceremony and celebrations ensures the capture of genuine, unposed footage that truly reflects the atmosphere of the event.

The groom's brother giving a speech

Umbrian wedding venues, with their diverse settings – from rustic interiors to breathtaking outdoor landscapes – require a deep understanding of adaptable lighting and filming techniques. A skilled videographer knows how to take advantage of the architectural features of ancient farmhouses, the natural play of light filtering through vineyard pergolas, or the unique quality of golden hour lighting that makes every scene cinematic. During this wedding, we worked side by side with Carlo Carletti, Twice WPJA Wedding Photographer of the Year and Leica Akademie Teacher, who brought his incredible expertise as an internationally renowned photographer to capture emotions and beauty even in the most unique and untouched settings of Umbria. Investing in a professional wedding photography and videography services means preserving not just images, but also the sounds, atmosphere, and emotions of an unforgettable day, creating a treasure of memories that becomes even more valuable over time.

FAQ

Here to answer your questions and guide you through every detail.

Sure! You can request the price quotation by calling us or filling out the form. If you prefer, you can also send an email to this address: info@thirtyfivestudios.com

Weddings and elopements are confirmed only by contract and first deposit. Usually couples book their event 6-9 months in advance: for this reason, please contact us in time so that we can check our availability immediately.

It’s important to note that a date cannot be reserved until a formal contract is signed with our videoography studio. This policy is in place due to continuous inquiries, as multiple couples might request the same date during the same period.

Generally work is divided into two types: weddings and elopements.

For the wedding what is delivered is:

  • Trailer 4K (from 2 to 4 minutes).
  • Film 4K (from 10 to 15 minutes).
  • Extra videos 4K (these are video clips in addition containing full speeches, dances and other things).

For the elopement what is delivered is:

  • Instagram Reel (from 1 to 2 minutes).
  • Film 4K (from 5 to 7 minutes).

However, nothing prevents you from extending your requests when signing the contract. Request more information and take a look at our pricelist to find out about all the services we offer.

In our packages, travel and stay expenses are included in the cost because we regularly travel throughout Italy to shoot weddings. Being based in different places in Italy, we do not inflate prices for travel because we are close to major and famous wedding locations. Therefore, no matter where in Italy you choose to have your wedding, our costs remain the same.

Please note that VAT is included in our prices. However, our prices are listed in Euros, not in dollars, and any currency conversion fees and taxes from their originating bank are the responsibility of the clients.

Yes! We offer the possibility to add real Super8 or VHS-style footage to your wedding film. These nostalgic formats bring a timeless, emotional, and raw aesthetic that beautifully complements the elegance of digital cinematography. Whether you’re after vintage charm or an editorial look, this extra is perfect for couples who want their story to feel truly unique.

Generally, no more than 90 days for the complete work, as written in the contract. However, by choosing “fast delivery” you can receive the finished work within 15 days.

The videos are delivered in digital format via our Dropbox. However, upon extra payment, you can request a usb pen box set on which you can keep a copy of the videos.

Our studio is led by Francesco and Livio, who have been working side by side for years, sharing the same vision and creative approach. This allows us to guarantee consistency in both style and quality. From the very first conversation, you will know whether both of us will be present, or if one of us will be joined by a trusted member of our team. In any case, you can always expect the same reliability and attention to detail.

For years so far, we have chosen not to charge for the drone as for a service apart, so it is already included in our basic package and there is no increase in price. This instrument will be used at our discretion, where there is needed.

In some places drone use is unfortunately not permitted. In that case we will use 4K stock aerial footage of the location.

In a wedding we generally stay from 8 to 10 hours. For an elopement the service time ranges from 4 to 6 hours.

Obviously it is possible to create a tailor-made contract for you in order to cover the entire event (welcome dinner, night party, post and pre wedding experiences).

Yes, you can make some small changes to the video such as scene changes. It is not possible to change the music because the music is always chosen by the couple before starting the assembly phase.

We always give the couple the choice of two important things:
the music and the parts of the speeches.

The music can be chosen by the couple before or after the wedding day.

For the speeches, however, we send the couple all the videos of the speeches and the couple can tell us the most important minutes they want to have in the video.

In this way we try to create a product that is as close to what the couple would like to receive.

Obviously this is not a requirement. If the couple doesn’t want to do this, they can totally rely on our personal taste.

With our videography studio, we do not directly offer a photographic service. However, we do offer our exclusive “Film Frames” service, which consists of approximately 400 high-quality 4K images (both vertical and horizontal) extracted from our video footage. Additionally, we deliver a curated selection of 30 preview images within 24 hours after the event.

This allows you to have a consistent visual style across video and photo, managed by a single team, while significantly reducing overall costs. Alternatively, we’re happy to recommend professional photographers we frequently collaborate with across Italy.
