Three Days of Love in Tuscany: Belmond Castello di Casole Wedding

Each of us has our own personal idea of what “romanticism” is, and to which objects, behaviors, or places it may be connected. Yet in the collective imagination, there are some places that are “naturally” imbued with a particular romantic aura, and one of these is without a doubt Italy. It is universally recognized as one of the most romantic destinations to celebrate a wedding, and it is no surprise that Tuscany, in particular, holds a special place in the hearts of countless couples from all over the world. Its gentle hills, medieval villages, and unmistakable atmosphere steeped in history and beauty make this region the ideal setting for a “destination wedding”, those weddings celebrated far from one’s home country, turning the wedding day into an unforgettable journey.

Why Tuscany Is the Ultimate Destination Wedding Location

There are many reasons why Tuscany is one of the most sought-after destinations for international weddings, and they are not only related to its scenic beauty but also to the wide range of services and venues dedicated to luxury events. The golden light, the cypress trees reaching up to the sky, the stone villages, and the renowned art cities such as Florence, Siena, and Pisa create a unique setting that blends romance, culture, and authenticity. This combination makes it perfect for couples looking for a wedding that is both elegant and timeless.

A key factor that drives so many couples to choose Tuscany is the variety of venues available: from historic castles transformed into exclusive resorts to Renaissance villas nestled in the countryside that allow for intimate and evocative ceremonies. Each type of wedding venue offers a different experience, but they all share the same warm and welcoming atmosphere that defines this region. Moreover, many venues provide comprehensive wedding packages, with high-quality services ranging from gourmet catering to floral design, making planning much easier even for those living on the other side of the world.

From a practical standpoint, getting married in Tuscany also means being able to rely on a network of highly experienced professionals in the destination wedding industry: wedding planners, photographers, videographers, and local vendors accustomed to working with international clients given the high demand. This allows couples to feel supported at every stage, from the required paperwork to the finest aesthetic details. Finally, what makes Tuscany even more ideal as a wedding destination is its particularly favorable geographical position: not only is it easily accessible thanks to the international airports of Florence and Pisa, but it also enjoys a mild climate that makes it possible to host weddings almost any time of the year.

A Fairytale Unfolds at Castello di Casole

To host their grand three-day celebration, Bridget and Kyle chose a truly exceptional wedding venue: Belmond Castello di Casole, a luxury villa nestled in the lush greenery of stunning Tuscany, among the gentle hills surrounding Siena. This ancient medieval castle — built on an Etruscan site dating back thousands of years — tells a story of agricultural traditions, hospitality, and refinement. In recent times, it has been carefully restored to preserve its authenticity while offering every modern comfort to the couples and international guests it welcomes each year.

Couples who choose this venue can count on an incredible backdrop for their wedding photos and videos, enriched by top-level service and a philosophy that values both sustainability and tradition. One of the aspects that makes Castello di Casole such an extraordinary location for destination weddings is indeed its close connection to the land. The estate includes over 10 hectares of organic vineyards and 12 hectares of olive groves, producing fine wines and high-quality extra virgin olive oil, crafted exclusively for its guests.

The castle offers a variety of spaces, perfect for weddings of all sizes: from the small and intimate Church of San Tommaso, ideal for ceremonies of up to 30 guests, to the expansive vineyards that can host larger events with a touch of natural magic. For those seeking the utmost privacy and exclusivity, it is even possible to reserve the entire property, transforming the wedding into a private and unforgettable experience to be shared only with family and friends.

Completing the experience are elegant suites, a spa surrounded by nature, gourmet restaurants celebrating Tuscan cuisine, and an infinity pool with breathtaking views over the hills. Guests can enjoy not only a fairytale wedding but also a true experiential stay, with wine tastings, vineyard walks, and activities that explore the local area. All of this makes Castello di Casole not just a venue for the “I do” moment, but a place capable of offering emotions and memories that last forever.

Beyond the Venue: Romance and Tradition in Siena

If a couple is willing to travel thousands of kilometers to get married in a certain place, they will certainly also be interested in exploring the surroundings of their wedding venue and visiting the most important nearby towns. In the case of Bridget and Kyle’s wedding, we are near Siena, one of the most fascinating cities in Tuscany and undoubtedly a unique place in the world for its architecture and culture. Siena’s charm is entirely historic: with its well-preserved districts, the warm colors of its stone buildings, and its cobblestone streets, it never fails to enchant anyone wandering through the winding alleys of its UNESCO-listed historic center.

The beating heart of the city is without a doubt Piazza del Campo, famous for its shell shape and for hosting the traditional Palio, one of the most renowned historical events in Italy. This horse race, held twice a year, pits the city’s contrade against each other in a competition that combines sport, tradition, and local identity. Beyond being a major tourist attraction, the Palio is the very symbol of the passion and sense of belonging that Siena’s inhabitants feel for their city.

The Gothic architecture, the magnificence of the Siena Cathedral, and the panoramic views over the surrounding hills provide a stunning backdrop for wedding videos with a slightly vintage yet deeply romantic atmosphere. From a practical perspective, choosing a venue near Siena also means benefiting from a strategic location. The city is well connected to both Florence and Rome, making travel easier for international guests, and its efficient railway links also simplify internal transfers, allowing couples and their guests to move effortlessly between the countryside and the urban centers.

Three-Day Luxury Destination Wedding in Tuscany: Bridget and Kyle’s Celebration

The wedding of Bridget and Kyle at Belmond Castello di Casole was a truly extraordinary celebration, unfolding over three unforgettable days amidst the enchanting beauty of Tuscany. The festivities began with a sunset poolside aperitif on the first evening, where guests relaxed by the infinity pool while taking in breathtaking views of the rolling Tuscan hills. On the second day, the couple hosted a welcome dinner in the villa’s garden to greet the final arrivals from overseas. Guests enjoyed a menu of authentic Tuscan dishes, accompanied by live Italian music that had everyone singing and dancing, creating a warm and joyful atmosphere.

On the wedding day itself, preparations began in separate areas of the villa, allowing the bride and groom to share intimate moments with their closest family and friends. The ceremony took place at the villa’s most panoramic spot, surrounded by vibrant flowers and sweeping views of vineyards and hills, providing the perfect backdrop for both photography and video. Following the vows, an aperitif welcomed guests to the reception, leading into a dinner filled with entertainment from talented performers who kept everyone singing and dancing late into the evening. The day concluded with a magical cake-cutting under the stars, accompanied by a spectacular fireworks display.

A key element in bringing this seamless celebration to life was the exceptional coordination by wedding planner Brenda Babcock and her team. Every detail was meticulously curated to delight guests, from table settings to thoughtful touches that enhanced the experience. Among these was a dedicated corner featuring Italian specialties, where guests could select and take home a personal memento of their stay in Tuscany. Thanks to Brenda and her team, every moment of Bridget and Kyle’s wedding felt effortless, elegant, and unforgettable, truly a dream realized without a single concern or unexpected hiccup.

Every Moment Matters: The Power of Wedding Videography

At a luxury wedding like Bridget and Kyle’s at Belmond Castello di Casole, every detail deserves to be remembered forever. And this is where the fundamental role of wedding videography comes into play. A well-crafted video captures emotions and spontaneous gestures that might otherwise be lost amid the excitement of preparations and the joy of the moment; it highlights details often overlooked by guests or even by the couple themselves: a parent’s smile, the play of light over the Tuscan hills at sunset, or the spontaneity of friends during the celebrations.

These moments become part of a coherent, cinematic narrative, transforming the video into a tangible memory to cherish and share for years to come. Never underestimate the incredible power of photographs and videos during the most important moments of your life, because it is through these mediums that you will hold on to the sweetest memories of your loved ones and all the love you felt on that day. During this wedding, we had the pleasure of collaborating with the team of Elisabetta Riccio, a renowned Italian photographer specializing in luxury weddings.

The synergy between us videographers and the photographers was immediate: professionalism, understanding, and a discreet approach allowed us to work in perfect harmony, without interrupting the natural flow of the day. Coordination with the photography team is essential, as it ensures that every corner of the castle, every glimpse of the vineyards, and every emotional moment is captured in a complementary way, enhancing both still images and moving ones.

In settings like Castello di Casole, where the atmosphere and beauty of the location take center stage, a well-made wedding video enhances not only the couple’s emotions but also the natural and architectural backdrop. For couples who choose to get married in Tuscany, relying on local professionals experienced in videography means obtaining an authentic, original, and elegant story: one that perfectly complements the photographic work and makes every instant of your big day truly timeless.

FAQ

Here to answer your questions and guide you through every detail.

Sure! You can request the price quotation by calling us or filling out the form. If you prefer, you can also send an email to this address: info@thirtyfivestudios.com

Weddings and elopements are confirmed only by contract and first deposit. Usually couples book their event 6-9 months in advance: for this reason, please contact us in time so that we can check our availability immediately.

It’s important to note that a date cannot be reserved until a formal contract is signed with our videoography studio. This policy is in place due to continuous inquiries, as multiple couples might request the same date during the same period.

Generally work is divided into two types: weddings and elopements.

For the wedding what is delivered is:

  • Trailer 4K (from 1 to 2 minutes).
  • Film 4K (from 8 to 12 minutes).
  • Extra videos 4K (these are video clips in addition containing full speeches, dances and other things).

For the elopement what is delivered is:

  • Instagram Reel (from 60 to 90 seconds).
  • Film 4K (from 3 to 5 minutes).

However, nothing prevents you from extending your requests when signing the contract. Request more information and take a look at our pricelist to find out about all the services we offer.

In our packages, travel and stay expenses are included in the cost because we regularly travel throughout Italy to shoot weddings. Being based in different places in Italy, we do not inflate prices for travel because we are close to major and famous wedding locations. Therefore, no matter where in Italy you choose to have your wedding, our costs remain the same.

Please note that VAT is included in our prices. However, our prices are listed in Euros, not in dollars, and any currency conversion fees and taxes from their originating bank are the responsibility of the clients.

Yes! We offer the possibility to add real Super8 or VHS-style footage to your wedding film. These nostalgic formats bring a timeless, emotional, and raw aesthetic that beautifully complements the elegance of digital cinematography. Whether you’re after vintage charm or an editorial look, this extra is perfect for couples who want their story to feel truly unique.

Generally, no more than 90 days for the complete work, as written in the contract. However, by choosing “fast delivery” you can receive the finished work within 15 days.

The videos are delivered in digital format via our Dropbox. However, upon extra payment, you can request a usb pen box set on which you can keep a copy of the videos.

Our studio is led by Francesco and Livio, who have been working side by side for years, sharing the same vision and creative approach. This allows us to guarantee consistency in both style and quality. From the very first conversation, you will know whether both of us will be present, or if one of us will be joined by a trusted member of our team. In any case, you can always expect the same reliability and attention to detail.

For years so far, we have chosen not to charge for the drone as for a service apart, so it is already included in our basic package and there is no increase in price. This instrument will be used at our discretion, where there is needed.

In some places drone use is unfortunately not permitted. In that case we will use 4K stock aerial footage of the location.

In a wedding we generally stay from 8 to 10 hours. For an elopement the service time ranges from 4 to 6 hours.

Obviously it is possible to create a tailor-made contract for you in order to cover the entire event (welcome dinner, night party, post and pre wedding experiences).

Yes, you can make some small changes to the video such as scene changes. It is not possible to change the music because the music is always chosen by the couple before starting the assembly phase.

We always give the couple the choice of two important things:
the music and the parts of the speeches.

The music can be chosen by the couple before or after the wedding day.

For the speeches, however, we send the couple all the videos of the speeches and the couple can tell us the most important minutes they want to have in the video.

In this way we try to create a product that is as close to what the couple would like to receive.

Obviously this is not a requirement. If the couple doesn’t want to do this, they can totally rely on our personal taste.

With our videography studio, we do not directly offer a photographic service. However, we do offer our exclusive “Film Frames” service, which consists of approximately 400 high-quality 4K images (both vertical and horizontal) extracted from our video footage. Additionally, we deliver a curated selection of 30 preview images within 24 hours after the event.

This allows you to have a consistent visual style across video and photo, managed by a single team, while significantly reducing overall costs. Alternatively, we’re happy to recommend professional photographers we frequently collaborate with across Italy.
